Cheese consumption Not Raise Cholesterol

Cheese including savory foods favored by many people. Unfortunately, the cheese is often seen as unhealthy.

But a new study finds, that the cheese is actually good for us and at least the cheese did not have that bad reputation.

Researchers from University College Dublin concluded that people who eat a lot of cheese to be slimmer than those who did not. Cheese was actually not raise cholesterol levels.

The researchers examined the effects of eating dairy products, namely milk, cheese, yogurt, butter and cream on 1,500 people aged between 18 and 90 years.

They found that people who ate the most dairy products had a lower body mass index, body fat percentage is lower, slimmer waist and lower blood pressure.

It turns out also found participants who ate low-fat dairy products have cholesterol levels higher tendency.

Of course this is against medical advice that limit the intake of saturated fat (the cheese) to maintain normalcy cholesterol levels.
