When Flu Season? Try Practice Prompts this Study

Many sleep in eastern cultures considered unhealthy and is linked to the nature of idlers. A new paper published in the Journal of Sleep explain how sleep can be very helpful, especially during flu season.

The research team involved 11 pairs of identical twins adults. In a pair of twins, one asked to sleep regularly, while others do not. The experiment was conducted for two weeks.

The researchers then took blood samples of all respondents in the last day and monitor their RNA, are looking for different forms of genes. On average the results showed those who do not get enough sleep decreased the activity of the immune system in some parts of the body. This makes a person susceptible to disease-carrying germs, especially the flu.

"The results are all the same that shows people who sleep less, then given the vaccine, the response of antibodies is low. If the people who sleep less are rhinoviruses, they are more potent virus," said penulit main, Nathaniel Watson of the University of Washington Medicine Sleep Center, reported from mental Floss.
