Do not Want to Grease? Do not Eat Soft Drink



Soft drink's reputation as a threat to the health experts say is comparable to the dangers of cigarettes. Soft drink consumption habits, according to the researchers, could lead to serious health problems like obesity, heart disease, tooth decay and liver disorders.



Actually what makes soft drinks harmful? The experts at the Center for Science in the Public Interest, a bottle or can of soft drink containing added sugar content is high but has no nutrients. As a result, too often consume a soda can increase your calorie intake. Various studies have shown hobby soft drink consumption is closely related to excess weight. A U.S. study shows, for each can of soda you drink each day a child, the risks are obese rose to 60 percent.

Various studies have also linked the habit of soda consumption with risk of type 2 diabetes. There are also researchers who call soft drinks increase the risk of osteoporosis because it inhibits the absorption of calcium soda.

"In too many sugary drinks containing caffeine has addictive properties. Everyone should improve their awareness of the related health threats that are similar to the addictive nature of tobacco products," said Dr. Lori Dorfman, public health experts.


Dr. Dorfman and colleagues, from the University of California, appealed to the soft drink companies to stop marketing targets them to young children, given the risks to health problems.

Researchers said drinking just two cans of soft drink a day have been shown to cause problems in long-term liver damage, a condition commonly found in alcoholics. Liver damage, in the end requires patients to undergo liver transplantation because of liver function they are no longer able to process large amounts of sugar.
