Ginger is not immune to Overcome Morning Sickness


Ginger has long been known as traditional materials to cope with various diseases. The smell of fresh also makes this herb is often the mainstay to overcome the symptoms of nausea and vomiting in early pregnancy.


One of the active ingredients in ginger, namely 6-gingerol, known to help the abdominal muscles contract when nausea is more relaxed. Therefore, fresh ginger or ginger pills are very effective to cope with sea-sickness or travel sickness. Natural ingredients in ginger are also able to provide a calming effect.


Although ginger has been proven to overcome the nausea, when the experts analyze the data on the benefits of ginger for morning sickness, the result is less effective.


Analysis conducted in 2010 was conducted on data collected from random trial of ginger and other spices to cope with nausea and vomiting during the first trimester of pregnancy.


Although in some ginger can reduce the symptoms of morning sickness, but in general their effectiveness is inconsistent. Some women also complain of side effects such as burning sensation.


In addition to ginger, the researchers also analyzed the benefits of vitamin B6 and acupuncture in early pregnancy. Just like ginger, the researchers conclude two things less effectively relieve symptoms of nausea and vomiting.
