Remove U.S. New Graphic Smoking Dangers

The U.S. government on Tuesday (21 / 6) unveiled a new graphic image for the warning of the dangers of smoking are among the lifeless body shape, mouth sores, and blackened lungs, to highlight the risks of smoking to health. 

"Beginning September 2012, the FDA will make a bigger warning on the health hazards of smoking is more prevalent on all cigarette packaging and advertising in the United States," said the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) on its website.

Warnings, which can be found at fda.gov / cigarettewarnings, marking the first change in warning the dangers of smoking for 25 years and is a 'significant progress in communicating the dangers of smoking', the FDA added.

According to the FDA, smoking kills 1,200 people per day in the United States alone.
Another picture shows a close-up on open mouth full of brown teeth and lips, spreading sores, with the caveat: "Cigarettes cause cancer."
Smoking causes 90 percent of lung cancer in men and 80 percent in women, and has been linked with several other cancers, according to the FDA.
