There
are a number of reasons why babies should get breast milk (breast) milk
rather than formula, one of which is to support the development of the
infant brain very quickly.
Compared to cow's milk, breast milk contains lactose or main carbohydrate that serves as a source of energy for the brain. Amount of lactose in milk about 7 percent, or nearly two times higher than that of lactose found in cow's milk or formula.
"Lactose
in breast milk of the highest compared to other species," said Gusti
Ayu dr.I Sp.A Pratama, in a ceremony held on breastfeeding by Pigeon in
Jakarta, Thursday (23.05.13).
The content is not less important is the AA and DHA. Although
some formula milk products also contain two fatty acids, but there is a
lipase in breast milk that makes the absorption of AA and DHA is more
optimal.
