Could Endanger force Belching Digestive

Force yourself to burp will give bad impact on digestive health, says a specialist in diseases of the Division of Gastroenterology Faculty of medicine-RSCM, Dr. dr. Ari Fahrial, SpPD-KGEH.
"Belching is forced to make a lot of gas or air rises to the top, this is called reflux and can harm the digestive organs," said Ari when contacted on Wednesday (10/7).
Gastrointestinal reflux or reverse the direction of food can cause vomiting, thus forcing the stomach contents to come out. "This is dangerous because the esophagus (gullet) we will not be ready to accept the vomit that had mixed the enzyme. Was acidic," said Ari.

Because it is acidic, it can cause esophageal reflux injured. "The esophagus which would hurt caused decreased appetite, heartburn, discomfort, and disruption of quality of life," added Ari.
Meanwhile, the stomach acid will continue to increase full feeling in the stomach caused or bloating, and pain in the stomach. This is usually misinterpreted as symptoms of heartburn.
Ari explained further that the desire to burp could be due to an enzyme deficiency or malabsorption syndrome or maldigesti. The causes can range from genetic factors, pancreatic disorders, up to the age factor.
"This disorder occurs due to impaired absorption of food due to a lack of digestive enzymes. Without digestive enzymes, food can not be absorbed by the intestine. Automatically So metabolism is impaired," said Ari
To overcome this problem, it helps reduce the consumption of fatty foods such as meat, chocolate, milk, or cheese.
