Force
yourself to burp will give bad impact on digestive health, says a
specialist in diseases of the Division of Gastroenterology Faculty of
medicine-RSCM, Dr. dr. Ari Fahrial, SpPD-KGEH.
"Belching is forced to make a lot of gas or air rises to the top, this is called reflux and can harm the digestive organs," said Ari when contacted on Wednesday (10/7).
Gastrointestinal reflux or reverse the direction of food can cause vomiting, thus forcing the stomach contents to come out. "This is dangerous because the esophagus (gullet) we will not be ready to accept the vomit that had mixed the enzyme. Was acidic," said Ari.
