Attempts to stop smoking has always been a challenge. One of the often feared smokers are experiencing weight gain if they had successfully quit smoking.
According to the National Institutes of Health, not all people will experience weight gain when quitting smoking. Although there is a tendency additional weight after quitting smoking an average of 1.8 to 4.5 pounds, but few of them have additional quit smoking by over 13 pounds. Actually what causes weight gain after quitting smoking?
Heavy smokers are usually the most likely to increase the weight after quitting smoking in the next six months. But after a day without cigarettes usually they will experience back drop weight.
