Eating foods with high fat content should be avoided, particularly patients with type 2 diabetes. Recent research scientists in the UK indicated that consumption of foods high in fat may increase the risk of inflammation in people with type 2 diabetes.
As is known, inflammatory (inflammation) in patients with diabetes have a connection with an increased risk of complications, such as heart disease. In the study, researchers recruited 54 volunteers 15 of whom were obese, 12 with impaired glucose tolerance (pre-diabetes), 18 with diabetes type 2, and 9 healthy and not obese people - who consume high-fat diet after fasting overnight.
