Overcome Stroke with Cheese Consumption Every Day

During this time many do not consider cheese as part of health. Apparently there is some goodness that can be taken by placing a cheddar on a sandwich and sprinkling parmesan on the pasta you make.

According to a new meta-analysis published in the European Journal of Nutrition, eating cheese every day can reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke

In the study, Chinese scientists conducted a review of 15 studies to see the effects of daily cheese consumption on the heart. This review was conducted by observing over 200 thousand people and monitoring the consumption of cheese they ate for 10 years.

The results found were individuals who ate about 40 grams (1.41 ounces or about one serving) of cheese each day decreased 14 percent risk of heart disease. The risk of stroke is also lowered by 10 percent.

These results may appear to be contrary to the intuition of cheese that contains saturated fat that has previously been shown to increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. But researchers believe that calcium in cheese helps boost good cholesterol while lowering bad cholesterol.

Before you start eating brie remember that the results obtained from serving portions a day and this type of research can only draw connections between cheese-eating behavior and results such as heart disease. It may be that people who eat cheese have a tendency to exercise.
