Avocado Reasons Need to be in Your Diet

Avocado, the native fruit of Central and South America, has had a worldwide popularity. The delicious fruit is recognized as one of the important components in setting a healthy diet alias.

Clinical nutritionist Ishi Khosla informs, avocados contain a range of important nutrients. There is fiber, magnesium, vitamin A, vitamin B complex, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K, lutein, zeaksantin and phytosterols.

"Avocados contain many fats called monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs), similar to those found in olive oil," Khosla said, quoted from the Indian Express page.

The green fruit contains almost 5-20 percent fat, about 70 percent of it is MUFA. Presented Khosla, MUFA is a healthy fat that helps reduce bad cholesterol (LDL) and increase good cholesterol (HDL).

The founder of Whole Foods India, which provides healthy food products, said monounsaturated fats and oleic acid in avocados play an important role in lowering cholesterol. The soluble fiber in the avocado also helps the decline.

A number of clinical studies have reported that avocado consumption helps maintain cardiovascular health, weight management, and slow aging. Betasitosterol in avocado can also prevent the growth of cancer cells.

Research in 2016 highlights the benefits of avocado consumption during the period of pregnancy planning, as well as pregnancy and lactation. Pregnant women who eat avocado avocados make healthy skin and baby hair awake well.

Khosla says, do not hesitate to eat avocado and put it in a healthy diet. This fruit can be eaten simply or processed into juice, smoothies, salad, sushi, or Mexican guacamole.
