5 Foods to Avoid When Constipation

Experiencing constipation or constipation must cause discomfort. According to the National Institute of Health, defecating less than three times a week or feeling pain during bowel movements can be a sign of getting constipated.

This disorder can be avoided by improving eating habits. It is important for you to avoid some of these foods in order not to get constipated.

Dairy products

If you have constipation, avoid consuming dairy products. Especially if you are intolerant of lactose. Because the body may find it difficult to process sugar in milk and eventually lead to constipation.

Frying

These foods are high in fat and have no fiber. Quoted from the Times of India, Tuesday (17/4), eating high fat foods make digestion difficult and takes longer to metabolism.

Raw bananas

Avoid eating raw bananas if you have constipation. An immature banana will make it difficult to defecate.

Eat ripe bananas to relieve constipation because they contain fiber, absorb water from the intestines, and improve bowel movement.

White rice

White rice is a food to avoid if you have constipation. White rice minimal fiber. Choose brown rice that is rich in fiber.

Frozen food

These foods have low nutritional value, low fiber, and high fat. If you have constipation, avoid eating frozen foods.
