Not Too Make Addiction Electronic Cigarette

The electronic cigarette tobacco smokers judge not too addictive just like traditional cigarettes.

Although electronic cigarettes they smoked cigarettes as usual, but nearly 1,000 former tobacco smokers said they were less feel addicted, not too feel impulsive, irritable want to smoke.

"The pattern is very clear. The value is not very significant for users of electronic cigarettes than tobacco cigarettes. The electronic cigarette users feel less addicted," said Jonathan Foulds from Penn State College of Medicine.

Electronic cigarettes continue to be popular in the past 5 years. Cigarettes that consume the battery is delivering liquid nicotine and other flavorings through the vapor which is inhaled. Some people say they quit tobacco is smoked after using electronic cigarettes.

Although fewer electronic cigarettes contain carcinogens and other toxic substances than tobacco cigarettes, but long-term effects of smoking is not yet known.

In a study on the effects of this electronic cigarette, Foulds and teams involving 3,600 electronic cigarette users regarding their dependence on tobacco cigarettes and electronic cigarettes.

The previous smokers were regular cigarette users but is now switching to electronic cigarettes. They reveal their smoking frequency remains the same. In their daily electronic cigarette smoking about 24 times.

However, it turns out different levels of addiction. Compared to tobacco cigarettes, they say a longer delay for the first cigarette in the morning, the average delay for 45 minutes after waking.

About two out of five respondents often awakened in the middle of the night to smoke, but after using the electronic cigarette only 7 percent who continue the habit. Meanwhile a third of respondents have a severe addiction to electronic cigarettes, cigarette tobacco while on achieving 9 of 10 smokers.

Foulds says there are several reasons why the electronic cigarette is not too addictive. The first is the effect of nicotine is not immediate when smoking cigarettes electronic brain. "Levels of nicotine in the blood is higher if you smoke tobacco," he said.

In addition, if you smoke tobacco then we have to go to the smoking area rather distant. Usually someone will spend a cigarette and returned to the room. Meanwhile, due to electronic smoking can be done in the room, most people suck a few times and then continue the work and a few minutes later to suck one twice.

Currently the electronic cigarette may not be so addictive, but Foulds said electronic cigarette manufacturers now make a more powerful tool to deliver nicotine into the blood. If you have this, it is not possible addiction effects will be the same as regular cigarettes.
