There are several factors that affect height growth, including genetics, nutritional intake of food, quality of sleep, exercise, or certain routines.
The development's height is influenced by the pituitary gland which consists of three parts, namely the anterior lobe, pars intermedia, and posterior lobes. Anterior lobe which produces growth hormone and other hormones.
Growth hormone is responsible for managing the growth of hard bone tissue and cartilage. In the program improvement body, through a special method, the pituitary gland may be increased activity, thus producing more growth hormone.
All activities under this category of exercises induced growth hormone (EIGH) or exercises that stimulates growth hormone:
* Stretching
Stretching movement will make the bone-lengthening spine interested. If this movement be regular and intensive, can help stimulate the addition of a long backbone.
* Hanging
Dependent with both hands will stimulate the elongation of bones of the back, especially in adolescents who are still in its infancy. As dependent with both hands, body attracted by gravity down and hand the weight of the body, causing the voltage on the back.
* Kicking
This movement stimulates bone growth so that the elongated legs optimally. In its infancy, this movement is quite effective. In fact, in adulthood this movement can still increase the length of the foot, though not much.
Taekwondo athletes generally have relatively long legs for kicking practice regularly and intensively. In adulthood, when growth has stalled, the length of the leg bone is formed of cartilage, not bone hard.
* Cycling
Cycling movement that can actually stimulate the length of the legs, feet flat on the pedal, do not tiptoe. Back straight, and paddling movements performed stably and constantly.
* Swim
Movements in the pool can stimulate growth in an optimal weight for the entire body, from head to toe, having stretch. Swimming movements also involve almost all muscles of the body, requires a lot of energy, and cause a lot of lactic acid. More and more energy and lactic acid are released, a growing body to release growth hormone.
* Basketball / Volleyball
Movement basketball / volleyball very well significantly stimulate growth because the body often do leap upward against gravity and cause stretching the entire body. Exercise is also spending a lot of energy and lactic acid, thus spurring the growth hormone.
