Low Salt Diet

The purpose of a low salt diet is to help eliminate the accumulation of salt and water , also helps to lower blood pressure in hypertensive patients who are sensitive to salt . The following article will explain what foods are allowed , what things are important to consider , types of food that should be avoided ; are also other tips that a low salt diet is successfully executed :

The things that must be considered :
Salt in question in this case is sodium ( Na ) found naturally in certain foods or are added during processing
Animal foods that tend to have higher levels of Na than plant foods
Sodium salt added during food processing , such as salt ( sodium chloride ) , MSG (mono sodium glutamate) , fruit preserves or baking soda ( sodium bicarbonate ).

Foods to avoid :
Bread , biscuits and cakes in the kitchen and if the salt or soda
Brain , kidney , tongue , cheese
Foods preserved with salt such as beef jerky , shredded beef, corned beef , salami , ham , anchovies , boiled fish , sardines , dried shrimp , salted egg , cheese , butter and margarine
Fruits and vegetables are preserved with salt , such as canned vegetables , mustard , pickles , pickles etc.
 Engandung spices such as sodium salt , baking soda , baking powder , soy sauce , shrimp paste , MSG , paste and tauco.

The food should be limited :
Meat and fish , a maximum of 100 grams a day
The maximum egg 1 egg a day
Maximum of 2 glasses of milk a day

Food is allowed :

Nuts and processed products
Cooking Oil
Vegetables and fruits

Tips :
No fresh taste of food can be improved with the use of herbs such as : crazy , vinegar , onion , garlic , ginger , turmeric , galangal , greetings etc.
