Cell Phone Can Be a nest Bacteria

London: Mobile phones or cell phone has become a part of human lifestyle today. Most people can not even live without it. However, do you know if the phone turns out to be the home of thousands of bacteria?

A study carried out a number of experts from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK, found that the phone turns out to be the home of harmful bacteria such as E.coli, MRSA, as well as 1000 other bacterial species. Although most bacteria are harmless, one of the six phones that were subjected to experiments contain E. coli bacteria, the cause of many deaths.

This study involved 390 participants from 12 cities. Found 92 percent of the total mobile phone contains a variety of bacteria that can lead to attacks of various diseases. Even more dangerous, the bacteria found in participants' mobile phones have great potential to mutate into superbugs MRSA.

According to some sources, MRSA is a type of Staphylococcus bacteria that is found on the skin and the nose is immune to antibiotics. The number of deaths from bacterial infection MRSA more than the death rate due to decreased immune system syndrome aka AIDS.

"Our results show that many people are still reluctant to wash their hands. This is the origin of the circulation of bacteria. We hope our results can convince more people to wash their hands after using the toilet," said lead researcher, Dr. Val Curtis.
