Milk Can Prevent Type 2 Diabetes

Benefits of drinking milk has long been known good for health. But unfortunately, the level of milk consumption in some countries is still low, including in Indonesia.

A recent research shows, drank a glass of milk every day can protect you from type 2 diabetes. Researchers at Harvard University claimed that drinking milk during adolescence could potentially reduce a woman's risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

 
According to researchers, those who, when his teenage years was used to drinking milk will generally continue to carry these habits as they mature. Eventually it will extend the life of a person's life and reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes by 43 percent.

The findings are based on observations of a number of adolescents and adults associated with consumption patterns and health risks are more than 37,000 women. The results showed that women who consume milk and dairy products when teenagers and adults found to be at lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

In addition, teens who drink milk and about four servings of dairy products daily tend to have an ideal body weight.

In another study, researchers from Harvard University are also studying the benefits of lifelong consumption of milk as a source of protein. The study involved more than 440,000 adults and found that the risk of diabetes only 17 percent when a person consume milk. These findings reinforce the more reason why we should get a glass of milk every day.
