Foods Good For Vagina


Maintaining healthy vagina does not always have from the outside, because some of the food consumed can also help keep the vagina healthy. What foods are good for the vagina?


The vagina is one of the vital organs that must be
kept clean and healthy, because it can affect overall health, especially reproductive parts.

Some simple diet can help keep the vagina healthy, preventing yeast infection or bladder infection and maintain pH balance.



The following foods are good for vaginal health, as quoted from Livestrong, Friday (10/07/2011), namely:


1. Probiotics The body can be a nest of a wide range of good and bad bacteria. Consumed probiotics can help prevent bad microorganisms such as fungi and bacteria that can cause infection Gardnerella vagina.


Probiotics are easily found in yogurt or other fermented milk products, are advised to consume a cup of yogurt a day for optimal vaginal health.


2. Cranberry juice The juice is commonly used to prevent and treat urinary infections salurah (UTIs) due to acidic urine. While vitamin C is good for strengthening the immune system thereby preventing infection, the source of oranges, strawberries, kiwi, green and red peppers and broccoli.


Yet there are also foods that should be avoided or restricted such as excessive alcohol consumption, high sugar content, this is because these foods can provide the necessary environment for microorganisms such as Candida to multiply.
