5 Reasons Why Pillows Need To Be Replaced Routine

Not just pillowcases that need to be replaced and washed regularly, the pillow also turned out to have optimal life. Unfortunately we often use pillows longer than they should.

There's at least a good reason why your pillow needs to be retired soon and replace it with a new one.

1. Can trigger acne
The worst type of acne is the acne that is caused because we often attach facial skin to dirty objects. We can be exposed to the acne-causing bacteria from a cell phone or helmet, but the most common one is a pillow.

Pillows that have been used for years is a gathering place of dust, oil, dead skin, sweat, and makeup remnants. That's why pillows are also required to be washed. If you are prone to breakouts, experts recommend to wash pillowcases several times a week.

2. Mite nest
Small creatures and eight-legged alias mite is indeed too small to be seen with the naked eye. Mites feed on human skin that is released daily. According to Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, everyone has enough skin to feed one mite. To prevent nesting mites in your pillow, use a berseleting pillow that has anti-allergenic technology.

3. Never cleaned
Actually pillows, like the sheath, also need to be washed routine. Most people do not know that the pillow can be put into a washing machine or dry clean. Pillows are recommended to be washed every 6 months and make sure they are rinsed thoroughly until no detergent is left.

4. The structure may change
When we wash the pillow, actually foam or foam in it will eventually become flat. This means that its ability to support the head and neck is not as good as the first time we take it home from the store.

Sleeping with a pillow that can not support the head well will cause us to wake up with pain or aches in the neck. So, if your pillow is deflated just to be replaced by a new one. However, in general, pillows need to be replaced every 3 years.

5. Pain when awake
Although the age of your pillow has not been counted in years but if you often get up early with pain complaints on the shoulders, neck, and even headaches, maybe the thickness of the pillow is used less precisely. Change the pillow with the ability to support the neck properly and not too high.
