Body fat can be fatal

Obesity due to accumulation of fat in the body is clearly not pleasing to the eye. Not only that, this situation can also lead to several diseases. Unfortunately most people do not regard obesity as a health hazard alarm.
The International Chair on Cardiometabolik Risk (ICCR) along with the British obesity forum encouraging people to be more aware of the dangers of body fat deposition, especially at the waist.

"Abdominal circumference can be an indicator of the level of abdominal obesity which is a trigger factor for type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease," said Dr. Jean Pierre Despres, director of science ICCR.

Obesity is closely associated with high blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes or type 2 diabetes

Despres asserts, waist circumference is very important for predicting health. Men who waist circumference over 90 cm and more than 80 cm in women, should be vigilant as they enter the zone at risk of disease. Unfortunately, most people have never measured their waist circumference.
"Although most people are unhappy with their waistlines, but 60 percent of women do not realize how relatively normal waist size," he said.
One of the things that trigger a widening of the waist circumference is the habit of eating a sugary drink. "Drinks containing added sugar that can give an additional 1,500 calories," said David Haslam, chairman of the UK National Obesity Forum.
Also, limit your consumption of fat in the daily menu. Fat in food makes us fat because fat is more easily absorbed and stored by the body than carbohydrates or protein. Fat, which is more rich in calories, burn more slowly and the excess will be left in the abdomen.
Begin to reduce the fat from the source, such as fried foods, fatty meats, and dairy products and fat-rich snack. Also, change your enjoyment of eating high-calorie drinks such as sweetened beverages and soft drinks with water.
