Tempe is a very good source of protein. Every 100 grams of tempeh contains 17 grams of protein. This amount is equal to the amount of protein from 100 g of chicken feet. Tempe is higher in protein than cheese. And the most special of tempeh is low in fat and contain no cholesterol.

3. Other nutrients

100 grams tempeh contains about 80 mg of calcium. Although the amount of calcium from the tempeh is lower than the amount of calcium contained in dairy products, but this is at best contribute to fulfill your daily requirement of calcium. Tempe also contains iron, magnesium, and zinc in small amounts.
