Several Health Benefits of Drinking Tea

IF you think a cup of tea everyday just to help start the morning commute, it was not enough. Experts say, the tea has a number of health benefits.

Antioxidants present in tea, called flavonoids, good for overall health. Flavonoids are known to lower the risk of heart disease by improving blood flow, and slightly extending vital artery. Thereby reducing the possibility of clumping.

Tea was not simply a substitute for a drink of water. Some studies say, a good tea to hydrate the body. Just do not go overboard and stick to two to three cups a day.

Tea contains fluoride, which protects tooth enamel from erosion so as to prevent tooth decay. Antioxidants also fight gum disease.

For dieters, as reported on page Free Malaysia Today, tea beneficial to keep body fat at the bottom by burning calories quickly.

Green tea is helpful to increase the memory cells and some studies say can protect from Alzheimer's disease and dementia, and even some types of cancer.

Green tea is said to be very good for the heart and bones.

Black tea is beneficial to ward off gum disease and also good for the arteries.
