Food & Beverage Reduces Headaches

Certainly excruciating headaches, especially very disturbing activity. Research shows that there are a number of foods that can help relieve mild headache.

Here are some healthy foods to relieve headaches, as reported from Boldsky, Saturday (11/22/2014).

baked potato

It is one of the foods to soothe headaches, especially if it is a result of alcohol consumption. Alcohol is a diuretic that causes dehydration and loss of electrolytes such as potassium. Therefore, eating potassium-rich foods such as baked potato is one way to help relieve your headache.

watermelon

Dehydration is one cause of headaches. Instead of taking the medication, you can get a lot of water, such as from watermelon. The fruit is also rich in minerals such as magnesium, which is key to preventing headaches.

coffee

Java coffee according to the research could help treat headaches. Headache due to spread of blood vessels can be alleviated with coffee. However, still make sure the amount of coffee drunk, because it is a diuretic which can cause dehydration, which can even increase your headache.

almonds

Almonds are rich in magnesium. It is used to help headaches by relaxing blood vessels. It is very good for those who suffer from migraine. Magnesium-rich foods such as bananas, dried apricots, avocados, cashews, and brown rice can also help.
