In this study involving 48 people Rabinovitz smokers who already have this habit for 11 years and smoked about 14 cigarettes per day. The smokers were divided into two groups randomly.

One group ate omega-3 capsules 950mg five times a day for 30 days. While the other group took five placebo capsules a day with the same number and time. All respondents were not asked to change their smoking habits.
