Routine Eating Garlic Prevent Lung Cancer

A study conducted by researchers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Jiangsu Province of China, analyzed 1,400 lung cancer patients and 4,500 healthy adults.

Scientists compared the lifestyle of healthy participants and patients with lung cancer, good choice of food to the style of everyday life.

Researchers found that participants who ate raw garlic at least twice a week, 44 percent less likely to develop lung cancer.

Moreover, those who smoke but regularly eat garlic, both raw garlic for 2 times a week or garlic cook almost every day, 30 percent less likely to develop lung cancer, although smoking is becoming one of the biggest causes for this disease ,

However, nutritionist Anita Bean remain stressed, it is important to know that quitting smoking is the only effective way to prevent lung cancer.

The guidelines of the World Health Organization recommends we consume about 2-5 grams of fresh garlic each day.

The amount is equivalent to 1-2 cloves of garlic, or 2 to 5 milligrams of garlic oil, or 300 to 1,000 milligrams of garlic extract.

Even so research emphasizes, that reduces the effectiveness of cancer derived from raw garlic. However, you can combine it with other foods to eliminate the smell and taste slightly spicy, or you can sauté briefly and mixed into the food.
