Ginseng Equally Effective with Viagra

Ginseng, a plant that has been used by people as an aphrodisiac or power of sexual desire, it also can improve a man's love life. Study by scientists from South Korea.
Researchers from countries ginseng was found that men with erectile dysfunction can be helped after just a few weeks of taking tablets ginseng. These results support previous studies which state that ginseng may help treat impotence, after conducting experiments on mice.
This latest study involved more than 100 men diagnosed with erectile dysfunction. Although there are drugs like Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra which has been a mainstay in the treatment of this problem for the last decade, there are still about 30 percent of patients who get no results.


Usually if oral medications are not effective, then people will switch to injecting drugs directly into the penis, or by using a tool that improves the blood supply to the organ.
While herbs such as ginseng is touted as an alternative treatment, the evidence to support its use is still lacking. Nevertheless, ginseng is a plant that has thousands of years believed to improve general health.
Ginseng root contains several active substances such as ginsenosida and panaxosida, who allegedly had the effect of treatment. Researchers from Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea, split the 119 men with mild to moderate erectile dysfunction into two groups. The first group was asked to drink ginseng tablets four tablets a day, while others are taking tablets imitation.
After eight weeks, the researchers calculated the development with a scale called the index of erectile dysfunction. The result, visible difference is small, but significant, between the two groups earlier.
The authors of the study published in the journal International Impotence Research is also said, "Korea ginseng extract improve all aspects of sexual function that can be used as an alternative to improve the quality of sexual life of men."
