This Cigarette Turn Positive Effect

Smokers who successfully stop the habit of smoking will feel anxiety disappear. It denied the notion that smoking will reduce stress.

As reported by the BBC, British Journal of Psychiatry studied about 500 smokers. In the study it was found, was significantly reduced anxiety in 68 smokers who quit smoking for six months. The effect is greater in those with perceived mood and anxiety disorders.

Researchers from several universities, including Cambridge, Oxford, and King's College London, said the findings could be used to convince smokers to quit smoking. Concerns about the level of anxiety will increase when quitting smoking is not unreasonable.

This study shows a failed attempt to quit smoking increases anxiety levels. Researchers say smokers are more likely to have a cigarette immediately after waking up and feeling anxious. By quitting smoking, smokers will feel the anxiety is gone.

The results supported the government's anti-smoking campaign. Cigarette advertising now equipped graphic images. However, it has not managed to convince smokers to quit smoking.
