"Junk Food" Increase Risk of Asthma in Children

Limit the consumption of fast food or "junk food" for your child. Research indicates, the consumption of fast food three times a week can increase the risk of asthma and eczema in children.

In this study, children and early adolescents who ate three or more fast food for a week had 39 percent increased risk of severe asthma. While children aged six to seven years of experience 27 percent increase in risk. While eating the fruit three times or more a week can reduce the risk of severe asthma and eskim as much as 11 to 14 percent.

"If it is true there is a relationship between fast food with prevalence of symptoms of asthma and eczema, the findings will make a significant contribution to public health, given the fast food now so increase consumption," said the study's authors, Innes Asher, from the University of Auckland in New Zealand and Hywel Williams, from the University of Nottingham in England.

Generally, people with asthma do not have to keep her diet, but certain foods such as cow's milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, yeast products, nuts, and food colorings and preservatives, can make the symptoms become worse.
