Kick-Ass Strategies Handwashing Kill Germs

Washing hands before and after discharge from the hospital, the most effective way to kill germs on hands.

"In the hospital many germs as caring for the sick. Most effective way to not contract the disease in the hospital is to wash your hands using soap in the right way," said Head of Public Relations and Information Hospital Association of Indonesia (PERSI), Dr. Robert priest Sutedja in Jakarta, Thursday (10/1).



Robert said the patient, health care workers and hospital visitors have a risk of nosocomial infection, the infection of germs, bacteria and viruses that exist in the hospital.

To that end, Robert appealed to the public to get used to wash hands. Especially when in or out of the hospital.

"Hand washing is very accustomed to by a doctor. Past when I was a student, had been forbidden to enter the operating room because it was not properly wash their hands," he said.
