You have a heart attack? Cough turned out to normalize the heart rhythm of a person who had a heart attack.
"Cough is the way early so as not to stop the heart rhythm. Usually for people affected by sudden cardiac arrest, slow rhythm, with cough, abnormal heart rhythm back," said the heart disease experts from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia (UI) Iwan Dakota on Thursday (4/4).
According to Iwan, the patient is asked to cough heart disease first because then the heart will be stimulated. However, he insists cough is not the only way to deal with early sudden cardiac arrest.
"Should immediately taken to the hospital for further addressed and avoid sudden death (sudden death)," said Iwan.
Meanwhile, President Director Harapan Kita Heart Hospital Hananto Andriantoro explained there are two causes of sudden death from a heart attack, the closing of blood vessels by plaque and blood clot on the tip and base of the arteries.
"If there is a blockage of the vessels at the end, people can still be saved, but if the same thing happens at the base of the arteries, less likely to survive," said Hananto.
