Lower Blood Pressure with Fruit Bits

Drink a glass of beet juice can lower blood pressure turns. In a study involving 15 patients, it is known that a glass of 250 ml of beet juice lowered blood pressure by 10 mmHg.
Effects of drinking beet juice can be detected a day later. However, signs of blood pressure reduction was seen between three-six hours after drinking beet juice.
Scientists say nitrates in beet loosen blood vessels so blood flows more smoothly. Many people are using nitrate drugs to suppress the symptoms of high blood pressure.
Researchers from Barths Health NHS Trust and the London Medical School said, is the need for further research. They also warned of the consequences of drinking beet juice can make the color of the urine turn pink.

Nitrates are naturally found in the soil. Substance was taken from the root vegetables to make it grow. "We were surprised how nitrate in small amounts can make a big effect," said the researcher, Amtrita Ahluwalia reported by the BBC.
He said nitrate diet with green leafy vegetables or fruit bits can improve cardiovascular health. Medical Director at the British Heart Foundation, Peter Weissberg added that research suggests the importance of eating vegetables.
"But we need a study involving more patients to consider the effectiveness of nitrate-rich vegetables lowers blood pressure in a long time," he said.
