A study indicates , the role of fathers and mothers in the care of a great influence on the development of the child . Children
raised by parents who could potentially become a person smart , even
smarter than children who only raised by a single parent . Complete stimulation of both parent allows the child to develop more brain cells .
This is the result of the study the scientists of Hotchkiss Brain Institute ( HBI ) , Calgary University , Canada . In his research , researchers used mice that nurtured one and two parents . During the study , the research team to monitor the development of brain cell birth until old age . As a result, most acquired brain cells in mice that was raised by two parents than just one .
"When
I was a baby , they receive more attention and care . Sense of love and
caring that play a role in brain development , " said Director of HBI ,
Dr . Samuel Weiss .
Researchers assume , infants with complete parents less likely to experience trauma . Thus, parents who cared for the baby full opportunity to grow both in an optimal environment .
The number of brain cells , according to researchers , due to the baby rats gained attention and stability in his life . So , in the first year baby rats do not need to suffer emotional distress due to lack of interest earned .
This excitatory effect on both brain development . In
male mice , the cells in the gray area area ( gray matter ) much more
developed , whereas in female rats the cells in the white areas ( white
matter ) get more servings . The effect is male mice have memory and learning function better . Whereas female mice have impaired motor coordination and better social skills .
Even if done in mice , researchers said they believed the same results apply to humans . This is due to environmental conditions and similar parenting adjusted human world . Researchers also believe that the first phase of the rat and human life is not much different .
