This Cheap Ways to Lower Risk of Heart Disease

Risk of suffering from cardiovascular disease it can be derived by a simple and inexpensive way . Toothbrush diligent enough , the risk of suffering from heart and blood vessel disease can be   reduced .
This is the conclusion of researchers from Columbia University 's Mailman School of Public Health . The scientists examined whether cleaning , brushing , and regular visits to the dentist affects arterial wall thickening as calcium , cholesterol , and other substances in the blood stream . The study results were published in the Journal of the American Heart Association .
The findings confirm a strong relationship between oral hygiene and hardening of the arteries ( atherosclerosis ) . Atherosclerosis is a major cause of stroke and heart attack . Hardening of the arteries is also associated coronary heart disease and arterial edges .

" These results are important, because it turns out the progress of atherosclerosis in line with the profile of the disease and the bacteria in the gums . Research shows , modification of periodontal bacteria and gum disease can slow the blood vessels , " said one researcher , Moïse Desvarieux .
To determine repair oral conditions can put a halt atherosclerosis , researchers examined data from the Oral Infections and Vascular Disease Epidemiology Study. This data includes 5,008 dental plaque samples from 420 adults.
These samples were then analyzed for 11 bacterial cause gum infection ( periodontal ) . Desvarieux and his team also track health improvement or decline in the gums respondent , through regular   visits .
Researchers are optimistic that these findings into clinical evidence of cardiovascular medicine . " It's important to follow the patient , and look at the relationship between gum infections with atherosclerosis . During this stage , it could be tested whether modifying the flora in the gums will slow the progress of atherosclerosis , " said Desvarieux .
