Dangers of Delaying pregnancy until age 30

As people age , the higher the risk of pregnancy . Pregnancy causes many problems in the age of 30-34 , the risk increased by 20 percent . Higher risk in pregnant women aged 35 . In fact , pregnancy before the age of 30 was fairly high risk .

A study says that women who delay having children until about the age of 30 actually enters the zone of risk pregnancies . The results of this study refute the view of the risk of pregnancy in women who become pregnant the first time at the age of 35 .

The risk of pregnancy such as premature birth increased by 20 percent in women aged 30-34 , compared to women who become pregnant before age 30 . Not only the birth month is not enough , pregnancy over age 30 also increase the risk of infertility .

Professor Ulla Waldenstrom , head of the research team , said , " Surprisingly , we found an increased risk of negative effects of pregnancy at the age of 30-34 . Risk higher in women who smoke or are overweight , a combination of both . "

Researchers from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and the University of Bergen is doing research using the data of one million expectant first-time mothers in Sweden and Norway . Researchers compared 30 year old mother's pregnancy with expectant mothers aged 25-29 .

As a result, one in five women in their early 30s have a higher risk of premature delivery at 22-31 weeks gestational age . Another risk could arise is the disruption of fetal development , and even fetal death . Prior to this study took place , early pregnancy is not considered to be at risk .

The study, published in the journal Obstetrics and Gynecology is mentioned , smoking and overweight conditions also encourage risk birth month is not enough , the baby died after birth , and fetal death in utero .

" Therefore , both men and women need to be informed about the importance of child-bearing age factor . Biologically , 20-30 is the best age to get pregnant and give birth , " said Waldenstrom .

With the condition of many women want more than one child , the age of first pregnancy factor needs to be a concern . Moreover , Waldenstrom said , the age factor also fell determine the condition of the uterus and placenta , which are associated with the risk of complications in pregnancy .
