Energy Drinks Can Disturb Heartbeats

Energy drinks contain caffeine which can change the way your heart rate , according to a recent study says .
The team of researchers from the University of Bonn , Germany identify heart belongs to 17 people who consume energy drinks . The results showed that the heart rate is stronger after downing the drink .

In the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America , the scientists from Germany warned , the children and their healthy condition better avoid consuming energy drinks packed with caffeine .

 " Until now , we do not know exactly what the effects of energy drinks like this to heart function , " said Dr. Jonas Dorner , one of the researchers .

" The amount of caffeine in energy drinks are three times higher than other caffeinated beverages such as coffee or cola , " he added .

However , according to Dorner , a lot of side effects due to caffeine intake high . " Including a rapid heart rate , palpitations , increased blood pressure , and in the most severe cases , seizures or sudden death , " he explained .

In the study, researchers followed 17 people who were given energy drinks contain 32 mg of caffeine per 100 ml and 400 mg per 100 ml of other chemicals that taurine .
