When you think about what is most healthy beverage for the body, perhaps you will immediately answer water. But actually, there are several other types of beverages who are also very beneficial for health.
"Some drinks have tremendous health benefits, from eliminating minor ailments such as indigestion to minimize the risk of osteoporosis," said Dan Nadeau, M.D., medical director of Exeter Hospital HealthReach Diabetes, Endocrinology and Nutrition Center in Exeter, New Hampshire. Here are eight kinds of healthy drink that you need to make your favorite drink.
Green tea
Benefits: Helps reduce risk of osteoporosis, cancer, heart disease. Green tea is rich in flavonoids and polyphenols, natural antioxidants that may protect cells from carcinogens (cancer causing substances) and inhibit tumor growth by helping to neutralize free radicals in the body.

mint tea
Benefits: Relieves cramps and helps ward off indigestion. "Mint is an antispasmodic, so it can relax the muscles, which combat stiffness and pain," said Susan Lark, M.D., author of The Chemistry of Success (Bay Books, 1999).
It also aids digestion by promoting the movement of food through the digestive tract.

Low-fat milk
Benefits: Helps to reduce osteoporosis. Low-fat dairy foods have components in the form of healthy carbohydrates, protein and less fat is absorbed slowly by the body so you full longer, says Molly Pelzer, R.D., nutrition consultant in Tipton, Iowa.
