Children of Parents Affected Vulnerable Smoker Diabetes

The study showed that children exposed to smoke when he was still in the womb susceptible to diabetes. The study conducted by the University of California, Davis and Berkeley nonprofit Health Institutions.

The study shows women whose mothers smoked while pregnant with him at risk of diabetes are three times greater. Smoking when his father was still in the womb also contribute to increase the risk.

"Our findings are consistent with the idea that chemical exposure may affect the development of the content of health and peyakit," said head researcher Michele La Merrill, as quoted by Science Daily, Tuesday (10/2).

The study involved 1,800 daughters of mothers who participated in Development Studies and the Institute of Child Health in the nonprofit Health.

In a previous study, fetuses were exposed to secondhand smoke are also at risk of obesity and low weight at birth. "We found that parents who smoke are risk factors for diabetes. If parents smoke, you are not safe from diabetes even if you thin," he said.
