It Adverse Impact Too Much Drinking

Drink six to eight glasses of water a day can improve concentration, improve skin cells, and give more energy. In addition, water also can prevent headaches, help in detoxification, and even appetite.

However, Professor Mark Whiteley, a consultant vascular surgeon and founder of The Whiteley Clinic in London, expressed concern if someone drank too much water in a day. He suggested a number of risks that may be caused by too much drinking. Reported by the Daily Mail, the following explanation.

Water keeps the body produces excessive sweating
Professor Whiteley, is also an expert in hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) believe that drinking excess water raises a person's risk overhydration or with extreme sweating. Some people even have to perform surgical removal of sweat glands as a result of it.

"If you drink more water than you need, then the body will sweat to escape from excess water," he said.

Excess water can be caused insomnia
When we sleep, our brain releases ADH, anti-diuretic hormone, to slow down kidney function and stop the desire to urinate at night. So, if you drink two or three glasses of water at night, no ADH is released as water fills the bladder and you will soon get up to urinate. After that, you would be hard to go back to sleep. Whiteley recommend no liquid enters the body for two to three hours before bedtime.

Water can make a die of poisoning
In 2008, a housewife from Huddersfield, Jacqueline Henson (40), died after drinking four liters of water in a few hours. At that time Jacqueline was in a weight loss program that is tight.

Researchers British Dietetic Association, Frankie Phillips, say, drinking too much water will disturb the balance of salt levels in the body. If we drink a lot of water in a very short time, the kidneys are not able to accommodate the excess fluid and blood will be more dilute than it should be, with a low concentration of salt.

Salt levels in the blood cells and the body is usually the same. But if the blood suddenly becomes more dilute, can cause brain cells to swell. This raises the pressure inside the skull that can lead to headaches.
