"Saturated fatty acids that raise cholesterol levels. When we eat foods that have a high saturated acids, it will add to the cholesterol. Cholesterol-free margarine was not saturated fat free, whereof only a little, "he said when met in Jakarta, Thursday (12/02/2015).

Furthermore, Ratna said that almost every food source of fats also contain saturated fat. "Want eggs, like milk, all contain saturated acids. Meat including chicken was high in saturated acids, fish is also there, but the composition is different, "he explained.

"Cholesterol is a lot of animal food sources. Vegetable does not have cholesterol, but still no saturated fatty acids. So however, also do not consume excessive fats and we should be good to choose foods with saturated fatty acids lower, "he concluded.
