Excessive consumption Able Supplements Cause Cancer

This supplement tablets during believed to improve the health and endurance of the disease.
However, a new study finds too many supplements can actually increase the risk of heart disease and cancer.

"Supplements promoted for its health benefits, but if it exceeds the amount of daily consumption, will have side effects," said Dr. Tim Byers of the University of Colorado Cancer Center, as reported by the Daily Mail, Tuesday (21/4).

Two decades ago, researchers found that people who eat lots of fruits and vegetables tend to avoid cancer. So Dr. Bryers began investigating whether taking vitamin and mineral supplement to also can reduce the risk of cancer.

"We studied the thousands of patients over 10 years who consume dietary supplements," he said.

Experiments show taking supplements of beta keratin more than the recommended dose can increase the risk of lung and heart disease by 20 percent. Folic acid is known to reduce the number of polyps in the gut, it increases the amount in other organs.

"But this is not intended to make others afraid of taking vitamins and minerals, if taken in the right dosage, good supplement for the body," he explained.

He added, the thing to remember is not a substitute for nutritious food supplement. Supplements should be coupled with healthy food consumption.
