Consumption Effects of Chicken Meat Hormone Injected

Be careful when buying chicken. Some breeders apparently been injected chicken with estrogen. The hormone is injected to accelerate the growth of an animal that is known as growth hormone (growth hormone).
According to the Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, University of Indonesia (FKM UI) Agustin Kusumayati, hormone injected chicken consumption can affect hormone boy who is still in its infancy.

"For example, now there are children aged 9 years who had menstruation. Though usually age 11 or 12 years," said Agustin.

Although banned, Agustin suspect there are breeders who inject the hormone. Unfortunately, it is not easy to distinguish chickens are injected with hormones or not. However, typically, the hormone is injected chicken domestic chicken and physically look fat.

Not only chickens, other animals, such as cows, can also be injected with hormones. However, according to Agustin, the number of cases is very little when compared to chicken.
Moreover, according to Agustin, chickens fed the injection could be found in traditional markets or supermarkets. Agustin also asked consumers to be smart to choose foods that will be consumed.
