Tips to Remove Pesticides from Fruits & Vegetables

This year the World Health Organization (WHO) chose "Food Safety" as the theme of World Health Day which falls on April 7 this. So there is no harm if we discuss tips and tricks to make your food safe from the dangers of pesticides.

Some fruits and vegetables that you buy at the local supermarket contain pesticides with different degrees. Chemicals used as pesticides are used to make food in large quantities to avoid pesticides and other destructive.

Maximize activity wash

Use warm water in the container and wash fruits and vegetables as long as you wash your hands. You can also use a special soap or safe for washing food. Make sure you rinse thoroughly in running water.

Blanching

Create a solution that uses 10 percent of white vinegar and 90 percent water to soak your fruits and vegetables. Make sure fruits and vegetables are dipped rinsed the solution, then rinse. Be careful with fruit that has a thin skin because the solution can damage the skin.

To Peel

Another effective way to remove traces of pesticides is to peel vegetables or fruit. This technique is recommended to avoid the possibility of chemical pesticides that can not be washed go into your stomach.
