7 Does This Make Healthier Kids

It is not easy to instill good habits to children, especially regarding healthy lifestyles. The most basic is to teach children to eat healthy foods. Unfortunately, most of them liked greasy foods or junk foods which then have a negative impact on their bodies in the long term. As parents, of course, we have to know the right step to maintain the health of children.


1. Fluid intake

Not only water, fluid can also be obtained from the fruit. Fruit or natural fruit juice should be given to children every day, because it can detoxify the body and boost immunity. Children also often play, so they will often become dehydrated. Therefore, fluid intake should not be overlooked.

2. Encourage outdoor play

Children today spend more time with playing gadgets rather than playing outdoors. In fact, when children play outside, it will make them more active and healthy. So, invite them to play outside the house or outdoor games.

3. Recommend healthy eating habits

Early on, children should be introduced and taught by a healthy diet so that they are accustomed to adults. Do not get used they consume fast food or junk food.

4. Apply a regular sleep hours

To stay healthy, children need to get to sleep at least eight hours in one day. Adjust bedtime and waking hours to become a habit for children or become routine.

5. Promote about cleanliness

Cleanliness is an important role for children's health. By instilling habits of brushing teeth twice a day and regularly wash their hands after playing or before a meal, then the children will indirectly concerned with their health.

6. Make them like vegetables

It is no secret if the vegetables into foods that do not like children, but the nutrients and vitamins in vegetables so abundant. Parental duty here is to make vegetables into foods preferred by children, many creative ideas that can be applied so that the children want to eat vegetables, for example by forming a vegetable into a cartoon character that they like.

7. Include carbohydrates and fats

Active kids playing, so they need enough energy in the body. Therefore, the intake of carbohydrates and fats is very important to them. Choose healthy snacks for them, such as fruits and cereals.
