Jansen said that eating fruits and vegetables with different colors is very important to maintain a healthy body. During this time, most people are more often eat junk food or foods low in nutrients, but high in calories.
"Why do we have to eat colorful fruits and vegetables? There are many benefits that baseball can be obtained from junk food. Junk food has been processed in such a way that the nutrients lost," said Jansen in Samsung Electronics Indonesia, Jakarta, Monday (27/6 / 2016).
Jansen said that fruits and vegetables contain phytonutrients or phytochemicals that can not be obtained from other foodstuffs.

Phytonutrients contained in each of fruits and vegetables vary. That makes no fruit is red, orange, white, purple, to green vegetables. Thus, each color has different benefits.
Therefore, do not consume fruit or vegetable just one type or one color only. Jansen said the consumption of fruit and vegetables should be there every day from childhood.
"Eat three to five different colors of fruits and vegetables. The portion is adapted to the needs of each individual," said Jansen.
