Two consumption of this fruit if Want Slim

Eating berries and grapes each day was able to convert excess white fat into brown fat that can burn calories and prevent weight gain, the scientists found.

Scientists at Washington State University fed mice a high-fat diet. Those who consume resveratrol, a polyphenol compound, in an amount equivalent to 12 ounces of fruit per day (about two or three servings a day) lowered 40 percent of body weight in mice.

Previous research has claimed that resveratrol may help prevent obesity. Most studies, including studies of the popular wine, resveratrol is also used in a greater concentration, more than the amount that humans can consume in a normal diet.

Professor of animal science and scientists Songbo Du Min Wang showed that the rats that were fed a diet containing 0.1 percent resveratrol is able to transform white fat overload in the body they become brown fat for energy burning.

"The polyphenols in the fruit, including resveratrol, increases the expression of genes that increase fat oxidation of food so the body will not be overweight. It also prevents metabolic dysfunction," said Du, as quoted by Zeenews, Tuesday (06/23/2015).

Du said, resveratrol is the only polyphenol compounds in the fruit which provide beneficial health effects. Such compounds high in all fruits, mainly in blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, grapes, and apples.
